Below, please find a Letter of Interest (LOI) in application format. This is the first step of the application process. If we are interested in your project we will then send you a Request for a Proposal (RFP).
The preliminary questions found on our LOI application below are asked so that applicants think more critically about what their projects bring to the community on many different levels. Please answer questions to the best of your ability and we will let you know if we need any further clarification. Before submitting, we suggest that you download our OPEN Guidebook and review the information to ensure that your project is a good fit. The application guidebook also includes information about OPEN, frequently asked questions and important dates and deadlines.
Please note that applicants must have a nonprofit organization and if asked to submit an RFP, will need to provide a copy of the organization’s IRS tax-exempt determination letter. If your tax-exempt status is pending or if you are applying under a fiscal sponsor, a copy of your fiscal sponsor’s most recent IRS determination letter along with a signed Memorandum of Understanding that establishes fiscal sponsorship is required.
Thank you again for your interest in applying to OPEN and good luck!
